It has begun...
This represents the start of the earthworks to form a pad for the concrete slab. The site is not flat - there’s nearly 900mm of fall along the length of it. So it’ll be a bit of a cut and fill. With much compaction...
Still waiting for a construction certificate too

The area of the earthworks is quite a bit larger than the actual shed, just to keep everything stable. However, yes...it remains a sizeable shed. Can't wait!

But will it be big.... enough?
There’s no room allocated for regular car parking nor firewood storage. And my uncle suggested it wasn’t big enough for his timber collection....
Might need another shed. [hellyeah]

man, I wish we had good places to put an equipment shed... our land has a lot of seasonal water and/or steep hills within convenient distance of the utilities. The flat and dry spots are < ~ hundred meters from the power and water and are currently active pasture :P

I hear you. This was literally the only spot it could go that didn't involve lots of groundwork, a long run to power or the removal of many trees.
